The Biblical Law of Effectiveness works within the confines of purpose for Marriage

Genesis 2:24 - Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
God’s purpose for companionship and effective relationship is leaving and cleaving. Cleaving can only be complete when spouses leave their parents.
To cleave means to - to cling, stick, stay close, cleave, keep close, stick to, stick with, follow closely, join to, overtake, catch

Ephesians 5:25 - Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
God’s purpose for marriage is that Husbands model Christ love for the Church toward their wives. This includes – Being willing to view things from the wife’s perspective. Jesus came down from Heaven so he could be identified with his bride the church and by doing so became able to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15).
Being willing to lay down his life for his wife - This not only means to protect her but to also be willing to give up ones desires and aspirations if they cause conflict with her needs and desires. “Christ set this example in the garden of Gethsemane becoming obedient to death when he declared not my will but thine be done” It’s putting her before oneself. Christ laid down his life for his bride the Church.
Being faithful – Christ faithfulness to his bride remains even after his ascension to be seated at the right hand of the Father. He ever lives to make intercession for his bride (Hebrews 7:25)
Being Patient – Christ is never impatient with his bride (1 Corinthians 13)
Being a servant - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many. Some husbands have the idea that their wives are to serve them 24 hours a day.

The Effectiveness of a Worry Free Life

Think of what it would be like to live in a world where there were no worries! Peace would be everywhere, for example doors could be kept open without the fear of people entering in uninvited, job security would not be an issue because one would always be financially secure, there would be no need to fear death because protection would always be close. The reality is we live in an imperfect world where a worry free live does not take the place of wisdom, but an effective worry free life is possible "because" of wisdom. In John 16:33 Jesus declared in the world you shall have tribulation but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world.

Notice Jesus does not deny the possibilities for worry because we live in a troubled world, but the more wise and effective way is to trust him in every situation to work all things together for good (Romans 8:28). He says be of good cheer which means a cheerful joyful attitude should take the place of a worry because of what he accomplished in this same world. Jesus life was filled with trouble but he did not worry but simply trusted His Father and he was effective in everything that he did. Well of course that's because he is Jesus one might say, But believers have also been admonished not to worry.

Philippians 4:6-7
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

John 14:14
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. ... And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also ...
Notice in each case the believer has been commanded to not worry and God would never issue a command without his ability to carry it out because it would be unjust. Yes even though this is easier said than done, but we can strive for and have an Effective worry free life!

How to use Revelation Effectively

Revelation is God's revealed plan and purpose through his Word the bible. It is revealed truth and Jesus said in John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: "thy word is truth". To begin revelation must be final authority in a persons life to be effective, but public and private opinion does not allow this to happen. The bible is the one effective tool that unites individuals worldwide regardless of culture, ethnicity and race. Central principles such as Salvation, the Father Son and Holy Spirit, sin and the baptism are just a few core principles that men believe even though doctrine in various religions and denominations slightly differ. If revelation is to be effectively used, one should... 1. Believe in God's revealed plan and purpose - Hebrews 11:6 declares "But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a reward-er of them that diligently seek him". May i add that if God is not pleased then the recipient of his plan and purpose for their life will not be pleased either. Also things will not work out in the long run. Proverbs 14:12 declares There is a way that seems right unto a man, but the end thereof is the ways of death. Personal opinion may seem right at the moment but in the long run reality will set in if God's purpose and plan is not in the center.

2. Be willing to change - Revelation effectively changes the way a person thinks. Romans 12:2 declares "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God". Change is not something many are willing to do because of the challenges that being uncomfortable bring. A certain routine does not demand much, but change physically and emotionally does beginning with how a person thinks. Joseph was going to put Mary his espoused wife away privately because he had suspected her of being unfaithful. It was the law and culture of that day to stone a woman according to the Law of Moses if adultery was suspected and for Joseph there was no other explanation. Matthew 1:20 declares,
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. Notice how revelation and revealed truth changed Joseph's thinking and his actions were soon to effectively line up with the purpose and plan of God.
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21). We see that the family was preserved that Jesus was to be reared up in because revelation effectively changed his mind.

3. Be willing to Obey - Matthew 1:24 declares that Joseph was obedient to the revelation he received...  Then Joseph being raised from sleep "did" as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace

John 16:33 - These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. God’s purpose for peace is that a home’s foundation be built upon his revealed Word for that home. Peace is not the absence of trouble, but is the calm quietness needed to deal effectively with that trouble.

Effective People Know Who They Are

2 Chronicles 7:14 (New International Version) - If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14 begins with if my people and God declares that if the people of God are going to be effective in the earth, they must know who they are. Our land America needs healing because of how bad things have gotten and the White house or Government can’t fix it, Money can’t fix it. The healing of our land begins with the people of God knowing who they truly are. God’s people are humble people: Humility is not being a door mat for others to walk on, but it is strength under control, meaning a person submits to God’s word and depends on him to lift them up instead of them trying to lift themselves. We live in a world where it seems every person is out for themselves no matter who it hurts or disappoints. Effort is self - motivated to accomplish and succeed where and when only God can, but God promises to exalt the person who humbles themselves. This is proof of trust by God exalting a person placing them on the right path and establishing their going (Psalm 40) because effectiveness in the earth is being at the right place at the right time. People who know who they are will make sure they are in the right place doing what God wants them to do. God’s people are obedient: One of the characteristics of belonging to God is obedience. Isaiah 1:19 declares that if you be willing and obedient then you shall eat the good of the land. Good fruit can only come from a good tree (Matthew 7:18; Luke 6:43). Many people partake of what is not good for them because there is no good in them so one must be changed from the inside out (2 Corinthians 5:17; John 3:3). People who know who they are partake of the good things that God has prepared for them that love him because he reveals what is and is not good for them (1 Corinthians 2:9). Fruitfulness or productiveness is predicated upon doing what God says to do when he says to do it because he will then empower the instruction to be effective. He never would have required something to be done if he were not going to enable it to be done because there are some things that human flesh cannot do apart from God and his power. Fruitfulness is not just something working effectively because even those who care nothing about God have success, but only God enables Good success (Joshua 1:8). God employs fruitfulness to bring other things in line and in order with a specific instruction so others can also be benefited and blessed. The principle of fruitfulness Gen.1:28 was not just limited to Adam and Eve but was also to span throughout generations even to where we are in society today. Fruitfulness not only produces but must also provide for what is produced to keep it going. When a child is born that is a blessing, but the child must also be provided for protected and preserved which are the ongoing responsibilities intrinsically placed by God into fruitfulness and productivity. People who know who they are, become fruitful people who effect the land within their circle of influence to bring this land back to God’s intended purpose.
